The Death Day Players

Join the Death Day Players for an evening of fun and exciting interactive theater.
The Death Day Players are troupe of ghosts who travel around performing the night of their death for living audiences. Audience members are invited to interact with our players as they take on characters from the Ghost of the Evening's death. For those just wishing to be onlookers, the amount of interaction is up to you.

How does it work?

Our performances are split into two parts of the evening; A period of performance, where our players will re-enact the events leading up to the death and you will be able to interact with them as you please through this period, and a period of interview where you can now take on the role of detective and our players will be available to answer any questions. Participants can also feel free to go over clues amongst themselves or with our players.

Throughout the evening guests will have the opportunity to cast their votes for who they think the true killer is, and one person will be chosen at the end to win a small prize. Keep in mind, though, that the ghost who has the most votes but is not the killer will also win a prize, so they may try to sway you into thinking they are the killer when in fact, they may not be.

Each evening lasts between 60-90 minutes and culminates with our true killer revealing themself as well as their motive, and prizes being distributed.

Amelia's story takes place in the Wizarding World on an evening in 1921. Ms. Gala Clausen is throwing one of her renowned parties, this time to celebrate the work of one Harvey Ridgebit, a Magizoologist specializing in Dragons, and the creator of the Dragon sanctuary in Romania which current witches and wizards may know as the workplace of Charlie Weasley and the home of Norberta, Hagrid's dragon.
Amelia Olsen is a Magizoologist specializing in reptiles, and working currently with Runespoors, a three-headed snake known mostly for it's connection to dark magic. She has brought one here to this party to try and convince Harvey her research is sound. Amelia has also been commissioned to write pages for a new magical creatures encyclopedia to rival the one Obscurus Books has commissioned from Newt Scamander.
Surrounded by an impatient publisher, an annoyed magizoologist, a jealous colleague, a spy from Obscurus books, and many others with plenty of motive to kill, how will the true killer be revealed? The clues are all there and it's up to you, the audience, to piece them together to understand the events of the evening and uncover the true killer.
