In grad school I started focusing on practical applications of AI but I didn’t alter ALiCe until Nebuverse reached out about the Perfect Partner Program”
Kali is the first queer addition to the Nebuverse leadership team. We are proud to have a voice like hers working on the Automated Perfect Partner Portal System (APPP). As a self described hopeless romantic, Kali valued romantic diversity when making her team. APPP staff is comprised of several aromantic people as well as a range of sexualities and a full spectrum of gender identities.

Congrats Mx. Kavi!
Kavi (they/them) aided in programing ALiCe on gender inclusivity and asexuality. Did you know every version of ALiCe (and the former ALiC systems) identify as outside the gender binary? Once they learned from Kavi, both decided that they/xi/zi pronouns felt comfortable in addition to she and he!
Kavi is our Employee of the Year (2023)! This means that we are celebrating them all summer long. They have the best parking spot in Seattle here at Nebuverse HQ and a mini fridge added to their office fully stocked with Kavi’s favorite drink, Starry!
