Ribbons in the Wind - A Teatime Adventures One-Shot

Saturday, January 31st, 5pm eastern

This one-shot will be run by Amber Fitzsimmons.

Welcome esteemed members of the venerable Arts and Culture Society of Amberhaven (the ACSA) to Oakenbend! You are just in time to witness the celebration for the Ties of the Deekin holiday. It is your responsibility to observe the culture, the traditions, and, of course, the people of this small community so that you can learn, grow, and share with others the inherent beauty of the diversity we have across the Verdant Isles.

This evening, you are invited to witness the most important part of the holiday celebrations - the preparation! Hundreds of ribbons, ropes, and threads - in more colors than you can imagine - will be given out in the morning to be wrapped around the designated community poles and the traditional town spires to celebrate the strands that connect individuals and communities together.

All that wonderful preparation for the Ties of the Deerkin celebration will surely mean this holiday will be one to attend, record, and remember. In the small, friendly village of Oakenbend, what could possibly go wrong?

Sessions by 4 different DMs of 4 different table top RPGs. 5-8 player places available for each game, games open to observers! People who purchase a ticket will play at the table of their chosen game.

DO I NEED TO HAVE PLAYED A TTRPG OR D&D BEFORE?
No! All rules will be explained at the beginning of the session. Characters are made for you by the game masters. This is a very beginner friendly way to get into table top role playings.

DO I NEED TO PREP ANYTHING?
No! Outside of the questions you answer while purchasing a ticket, all prep is done by the game masters. You may get character or game info in an email prior to the game but this is not required for you to look over and not every game will send this out. All players of all games will receive a link to the zoom via email.

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?
Nothing is physically required. If your game requires dice, an online dice roller will work. Players of TTRPGs often enjoy taking notes so a pencil & paper may be useful. If you have dice you are welcome to use them for Teatime, Neverland, and Crash Pandas.
Starred for Life does not use dice.

WHAT SYSTEMS ARE THE GAMES IN?
Neverland is run using D&D. Players will be provided characters and no prior knowledge of the system is required.
Crash Pandas and Teatime Adventures both used modified D20 systems.
Starred for Life is a Powered by the Apocalypse Engine but required no dice. It is run with tarot cards that the GM will provide.
In all four games, players can use online resources to play the game. More details are in the ticketing page for each individual game.

HOW DO I BUY A TICKET?
Each game is ticketed individually. You can find all the games on Phoenix Tears’ ticketleap page. You can purchase a seat at the table by clicking the buttons below each game above.
