You know it's a waste but you call the authorities anyway. At least if you make it to tomorrow maybe they'll be able to find your laptop. After what feels like an age you get through to someone who takes down your location and the description of the teen. They tell you they'll call you with an update but don't hold your breath. You look around for something new to do with this very shitty day.
