You scramble up the fire escape to the roof. When you get there you find the teen in the jean jacket, and they're holding your bag. They spin around to look at you and there's something familiar about their eyes. They look at you sadly.

"Sorry, you haven't finished."

Then they rush forward and shove you off the roof.
